The funeral takes place today of a West Clare man who lost his life in a farm accident this past weekend.
Michael O’Dea and his son Eddie were dosing a newborn calf when a cow turned on them, firstly attacking the younger man.

The 74 year old managed to save his son but he was fatally injured after the animal kicked him.
Funeral mass for Michael O’Dea takes place at St. Mary’s Church, Cree at 12 o’clock this afternoon, with burial afterwards in Knocknahighla Cemetery.
