There’s good news for keep-fit enthusiasts in North Clare with the announcement of a new dedicated bicycle route.
The 4 kilometre cycle route will run from Ennistymon to Lahinch and funding of 400,000 euro has been allocated for its development.

The shared-use path is part of an overall 7 million euro investment for bike routes around the country announced by Public Transport Minister, Alan Kelly.
Ennistymon Senator Martin Conway is looking forward to the extra visitors it will bring.
