The head of the Irish Farmers Association in Clare has warned farmers to be wary of a spate of cattle thefts throughout the county.
Three cattle are believed to have been stolen from a farm at Knappogue, Quin last week while similar incidents have also been reported in West Clare and at Bridgetown in recent months.

Chairman of Clare IFA Andrew Dundass is calling on people in rural areas to be vigilant, and to note any suspicious activity.
He says people throughout the county are worried.
