Tributes are being paid to a Kilmihill man who’s passed away just weeks after celebrating his 102 birthday with Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
Cross Country Champion Timmy Ryan attributted hard work, such as ploughing and wholesome food for his longevity.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny who recently travelled to his home in West Clare to join in the birthday celebrations is expected to contact the family to extend his sympathies later today
Longevity runs in the family as Timmy’s mother lived to 103 and his grandmother passed away when she was 104 years of age.
