Gardaí are investigating a knife attack in Kilrush.
The male victim is said to be in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

According to Kilrush Gardaí this incident happened in the John Paul Estate in Kilrush at around 10 o’clock last night.
Its understood the victim in his twenties became embroiled in a row with a number of other individuals and suffered a number of stab wounds.
He was rushed to Limerick Regional Hospital where he’s being treated for a punctured lung- His condition isn’t said to be life threatening.
An investigation into the incident is taking place and Gardaí are following a definite line of inquiry – but are appealing to anyone with information on the incident to contact them on 9080550
