Gardaí are investigating an armed robbery on the AIB in Kilkee.
A lone gunman entered the premises on O’Curry Street in the West Clare town shortly before eleven am and demanded cash.

He then fled the scene with an undisclosed sum of money=
It’s the second raid on a financial institution in the town in the past nine months following a similar robbery on the nearby Bank of Ireland last October.
