The Agriculture Minister has paid tribute to the important role played by the Clare County Show today, as he joins thousands of visitors and exhibitors at the event in Ennis.
Now in it’s 108th year, the County Clare Agrcutlural Show includes Horse and Cattle competitions, along with trade stands, a dog show and family entertainment.

And this year’s events at the Showgrounds in Ennis include the first ever Clare Garden Festival.
Minister Simon Coveney is attending the Clare County show and told Clare FM it’s an opportunity for him to hear the concerns of local farmers, while also acknowledging the economic importance of the agricutlrual and horticultural sectors
