The Minister for Transport says strike action is not the solution to the ongoing row which could ground flights at Shannon, Cork and Dublin airports next month.
Leo Varadkar was responding to reports that workers at the state airports are planning two-hour ‘rolling strikes’ on the 20th of September.

The Sunday Business Post claims to have seen a memo in which SIPTU has given the go-ahead for industrial action by Dublin Airport Authority and Aer Lingus employees – over plans to reform their pension arrangements.
Minister Varadkar says negotiations to avert any distruption at the country’s airports, are ongoing.
