Property prices have fallen again in the past year – according to new figures from the Central Statistics Office, which also found that the number of renters has increased dramatically.
The Residential Property Price Index shows that house prices nationally fell by 13.6 per cent over the past year.

However, the pace of the decline has slowed down and last month, property prices rose marginally – by 0.2 per cent.
