Educational services in East Clare have been given a boost for the new school term with the opening of a new class for children with special needs.
The National Council for Special Education has announced that St. Joseph’s Secondary School in Tulla will be home to one of the 91 new classrooms being established across the country.
No new facility will be constructed, but the classroom will be incorporated into the current school building, and into it’s new facility which is scheduled to open in 2 years time.
Up to six students will greatly benefit from the new facility at St. Joseph’s – principal Margaret O’Brien has outlined how exactly this will occur
