A man in his 20s has been charged in connection with the murder of a pensioner in Sligo.
67 year old Eugene Gillespie died last weekend, after he was found tied up and beaten at his house on Old Market Street.

Gardaí arrested a man in his 20s in connection with his killing yesterday – and today he’s been charged.
He’s due to appear before Carrick on Shannon District Court at 2 o’clock this afternoon.
