A new report claims that the average value of a Clare home has more than halved since the height of the property boom.
The Daft.ie House Price Report for the third quarter has found that the average asking price for a home in the county is now under 145 thousand euro.

This marks a quarterly fall of 4.8%, with an annual drop of almost a fifth in the cost of the average family home.
The report’s authors also say that Munster recorded it’s largest quarterly drop to date in the three months to September – economist Ronan Lyons has been giving his theory as to why that is the case
