The Pope is getting an official Twitter account.
Benedict the 16th will begin tweeting from next Wednesday under the name at-pontifex.
There have been several accounts claiming to belong to the Pontiff – none have been given the blue tick of approval.

The Vatican hopes the opening of the official account will put a stop to the fake versions.
