Ennis has again been pipped at the post in its bid to host Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann.
Sligo has just been announced as the sucessful bidder for the event in 2014.

It is the third year in a row that Clare’s county town has missed out on the prestigious event.
In a statement to Clare FM Clare County Council has expressed its "extreme disappointment" at the decison.
