Confusion reigns again now as to whether the E-C-B will agree to a deal on the Anglo Irish Bank promissory note.
Despite reports that a deal was done the Governor of the E-C-B now appears to suggest otherwise.
Mario Draggi suggested that the governing council took note of what the Government did with liquidating the IBRC, but suggested no decision was taken:

The Liquidator for IBRC has informed staff all contracts with the company are automatically terminated with immediate effect- with some staff hired back on a monthly basis to complete wind down of the Former Anglo Irish Bank.
Staff have also been informed that they will only be receiving statutory redundancy
