Ennis may have missed out on next year’s Fleadh Ceoil, but the town’s musical links are to be celebrated in next month’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade
‘Ennis – A Musical Town’ has been chosen as the theme for this year’s event which will commence at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 17th.

A marching band from Phoenix, Arizona will take part, while keeping with the year of the Gathering ivitations have also been issued to groups in Langenfeld, Germany and St. Paul de Fenouillet in France, which are twinned with the county town.
It’s also expected that the town’s streets will be pedestrianised for a portion of the big day.
