Clare Gardaí today begin their efforts to engage with one community affected by the recent closure of it’s station.
A twice weekly clinic has been established at Broadford GAA hall to allow residents in and around the East Clare village to raise concerns on a one-to-one basis with a member of the force.

The clinic will operate on an initial two-month trial, and be held on Mondays from 2 o’clock until 3, and on Thursdays from 3:30.
Chairman of the Broadford Community Alert group Michael McInerney is pleased the Gardaí are endeavouring to keep up relations with locals.
