A Clare fast food outlet was among 7 food premises temporarily shut down by Environmental Health Officers last month.
Ali’s Takeaway, at 5 Newbridge Road, Ennis was served with the closure order on the 16th of January under "Official Control of Foodstuffs" Regulation.

It reopened a week later. It was one of two food outlets issued with this enforcement order last month.
Five other food premises, including a wholesale meat supplier in Offaly were forced to shut down under health and safety regulations while one prohibition order was also served.
