Killaloe Magdalene survivor hopes no delay in compensation

A Killaloe survivor of the Magdalene Laundries is hoping compensation can be provided as soon as possible for the women who received a state apology this week.

With many of the remaining survivors at an advanced age, campaign groups are hoping money promised for counselling, and medical fees as well as payment for the hard work they carried out in the religious run institutions will be made sooner rather than later.
