There’s been a slight drop in Ireland’s dole queues.
New figures for last month show 2,200 fewer people claiming benefits, leaving the standardised unemployment rate at 14% – unchanged from February.

In the Mid-West, the number of people signing on fell by 340 in the last month, and is now nearly 1,300 lower than this time last year.
