A further 80 acres at Shannon Airport is set to be made available to local farmers today as they continue to battle the ongoing fodder shortage.
At the weekend 12 hundred bales were cut from around 300 acres of landbank surrounding Clare’s International Airport following a request by the local branch of the IFA.

However given the severity of the fodder shortage, management at Shannon have now agreed to make an additional 80 plus acres of land available for cutting this morning.
