Clare’s Chief Superintendent has moved to reassure communities in West and North Clare that policing levels will be maintained as the local superintendent moves to a new post .
Gerry Wall has served in the Kilrush District for over 2 years and recently also took responsibility for the Ennistymon area, but now takes up a new position in Leixlip.
However Chief Superintendent John Kerin has confirmed that a new Superintendent will take up the Clare post this Friday –
Newquay native Seamus Nolan comes from the Limerick Division and Chief Superintendent Kerin says he will be a huge asset to West and North Clare.
He also paid tribute to all the hard work of his predecessor during his near 3 year term in West Clare.
