Amost a quarter of a million euro is set to be pumped into the delivery of a long awaited new community centre in East Clare.
The funding for the facility, which will be based in Flagmount but serve all the adjoining communities, is all part of a new round of Leader funding, totally 70 million- announced by the government this week.

230 thousand euro of monies will be used for the new community cenre with plans for the multipurpose building now at an advanced stage – while community efforts to secure the remaining costs are ongoing.
Clare Labour TD Michael McNamara says he is pleased the project will now ahead.
