Fianna Fail says the Justice Minister’s position is no longer tenable – because of his abuse and use of privileged information.
The party is to table a motion of no confidence in Alan Shatter in the Dail this evening – claiming he is undermining his office.

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny is leading the coalition’s backing of the Justice Minister – saying he has full confidence in Alan Shatter.
Minister Shatter issued a statement this morning – saying the Garda Commissioner has confirmed that there is no report into his failure to complete a mandatory breath test at a checkpoint in 2008 because of an asthma condition.
