Efforts to prevent burglaries and promote road safety will be stepped up in Clare over the coming week as part of the Safer Communities Campaign.
The Garda Commissioner has designated this week and the June Bank Holiday weekend to promoting and supporting Safer Communities, preventing crime and reducing the fear of criminal activity.

This campaign will reaffirm the ethos of ‘Community Policing’ throughout Clare and the rest of the country with gardaí focusing on Burglary and Crime Prevention and Reduction, Road Safety and Supporting Victims of Crime.
