Clare is rowing in behind the Gathering, according to new figures released by the group organising the national tourism initiative.
This summer will see 99 Gatherings held in Clare, the seventh highest figure of any county in Ireland.

In Munster, only Kerry and Cork will see more of these events organised from now until the third Sunday in September.
The August Bank Holiday will see the highest number of Gatherings, though this weekend is a busy one with Gatherings taking place in a number of areas, including Kilmurry McMahon, Boston, Tuamgraney, Shannon, Kilkee, Spanish Point and Miltown Malbay.
