Efforts to gather the Clare’s in Clare have resutled in an Irish record.
296 people with the first name Clare gathered at Ennis Cathedral today, with some of those travelling from the US and Australia especially for the event.
Targets for a European or World record were missed out, but it does mark an Irish record for having the most people in one area with the same first name at the same time.
