Enda Kenny’s sticking to his plans to hold an Oireachtas inquiry – but he’s leaving open the possibility to re-run the referendum to give more powers to Parliamentary inquiries.

He says the courts will deal with criminal wrongdoing, but the inquiry can find out what happened in the run-up to the bank guarantee five years ago.
