Clare’s housing market has performed better than most in the first few months of the year, through growth remains slow.
The Construction Industry Federation says 47 new housing units, all one-off builds, started between January and May, up from 44 last year.
This 7% increase is higher than the national average, where growth has largely been seen in urban areas.
