A man has been tied up during an aggravated burglary in Galway.
The incident happened at a house on Eyre Street in the city centre – at around 4 o’clock this morning.

The man – understood to be the owner of a nearby bar – did not suffer any injuries during the robbery.
However a substantial sum of money was stolen by two men – believed to be tens of thousands of euro.
