Dublin bus talks end with proposals due later

Talks between unions at management at Dublin Bus finished up at the Labour Court early this morning.

Discussions centred on a 12 million euro cost-saving plan at the company – which led to three days of strike – affecting 400 thousand commuters.

Junior Transport Minister Alan Kelly said a final document from the Labour Court – with clarifications – will now be published.

Unions are expected to ballot their members on the proposals agreed last night.
