Quin farmer appeals for public’s help after theft of cattle worth thousands of euro

A Quin farmer who says he has lost around 10 thousand euro worth of stock after he was twice targeted by thieves, is appealing for people with information to come forward.

Anthony Flannery lost 5 animals when they were taken from a shed in Quin at some point between last Thursday night and Friday morning.

Among the cattle stolen were a 6 year old black Limousin cow, two others in calf as well as an Aberdeen Angus and Gardaí are investigating.

Speaking on Clare FM’s Morning Focus today, Anthony said he feels these animals were targeted.
