Two Clare Youth Groups have scooped top awards at a film festival run by the Irish Cancer Society.
Pa Mongan, a member of Ennis Youth Project, was announced as winner of the ‘Best Actor Award’ at the X_HALE Film Festival for his part in their film ‘Think Before You Inhale.’
Meanwhile, Fishbowl Youth Group from Scariff, took home the award for ‘Most Creative Film’ for their film project ‘Don’t be smoking, be smokin’which was recognised for its innovative and creative approach.
Over 200 youngsters made 38 short films as part of the event.
