A West Clare school has received "top marks" arising out of the latest school inspection by Department of Education Officials.
19 pupils attend the two-teacher Tullycrine National School, located around ten miles from Kilrush.

A recently published report has found the school atmosphere to be positive and welcoming, with the quality of teaching and pupils’ achievement both very good.
It was recommended that the school build on it’s good work by developing systems to monitor the progress of pupils with special needs – the school’s board of management says this process has already begun.
