Expectant mother Aja Teehan has lost a High Court action challenging the HSE’s refusal to facilitate a home birth for the delivery of her second child.
The court has found the HSE’s policy of refusing home births to mothers who’ve previously had caesarean sections is reasonable and that the State shouldn’t have to accept liability for a risk it does not believe is justifiable
