The Ennis-Ennistymon Road was closed for a short time earlier today following a traffic accident.
Two cars were involved in the incident, which occured near Kilnamona Cross at around 8:30.

Gardai say two people were hurt, but that their injuries were not serious. The road re-opened to traffic shortly after 10:00.
