Gardai in Ennis are seeking the public’s help as they investigate an attempted arson attack on a halting site in Ennis.
Three unoccupied houses at the Beechpark Halting site were the target of the latest incident, which occurred in the early hours of last Wednesday morning.
While the fire did not take hold, the homes were damaged by smoke.
It’s the third such attack at this site since 2010.
Vandals targeted the last remaining occupied home in a separate attack at Beech Park last December, while Clare County Council spent over 50,000 euro on refurbishment works there after another incident in February 2010.
