The Irish Medical Organisation is warning that strike action by junior doctors is now ‘inevitable’.
It’s after meetings with the HSE yesterday evening failed to yield any results – and a ballot on industrial action is due to be completed by Monday.

The IMO says patient safety is being put at risk by doctors working up to 100 hours per week – far in excess of the 48 hour legal limit.
