There has been a major boost for Gaelic Games in Sixmilebridge.
The Hurling Club has acquired land from The County Council for development.
The proposal was passed at a recent meeting of Clare County Council which means the home club of Davy Fitzgerald now has scope for further growth.
In light of the recent success of the Clare County Hurlers both U21 and Senior teams the county is currently immersed in all things GAA and local Councilor in that area P.J. Ryan says the sporting body does great work.
