The Central Bank says it won’t be making any criminal complaints over the so-called Anglo Tapes.
The recordings, published in the Irish Independent during the summer, had raised concerns that Anglo may have misrepresented its financial position when it sought financial support from the Central Bank in 2008.

The Central Bank has now reviewed the tapes and says it found no new information to warrant a complaint to Gardaí or Director of Corporate Enforcement.
