A Kilkee woman is encouraging people to be aware of the dangers of Carbon Monoxide, following an incident which she and a four friends were lucky to survive.
Bernie Devaney was among a group of women rushed to hospital to be treated for Carbon Monoxide Poisoning after they became unwell during an afternoon visit to a friends house in the West Clare town two years ago.

Thankfully, all of the women made a full recovery, but Bernie says the life threatening incident taught them all a vital lesson about the threat of carbon monoxide at home.
