Clare County Council insists the former county landfill at Ballyduffbeg in Inagh was well run, despite admitting a breach of it’s air pollution control licence at the site.
The local authority has been fined 5,000 euro after pleading guilty to one charge relating to odours at the Inagh Landfill in August 2007.

The site has now closed, but residents in the area say they’re pleased with the finding.
