A North Clare restaurant has scooped top honours at a prestigious national awards ceremony.
Gregan’s Castle Hotel in Ballyvaughan was named Ireland’s Best Country House in this week’s Hotel & Catering Review Gold Medal Awards ceremony in Dublin.

The independently judged awards program has been running for 25 years.
There were a host of other Clare nominees, including Killaloe’s Lakeside Hotel, Moy house, Randaddy’s Cafe and Restaurant in Lahinch, L’Arco Italian Restaurant in Balluvaughan, Dromoland Castle, The Pavillion at UL and Red Cliff Lodge in Spanish Point.
