Gardai are warning of fresh calls to Clare homes relating to a computer repair scam.
Homeowners in West Clare have reported receiving calls from people offering to fix their computers, though the person at the other end of the line, who purports to be from microsoft or another reputable firm, is merely looking to obtain credit card details.

Gardai in Kilrush say they believe homes in the 065 phone area are being targetted, and are advising people to simply hang up if they receive a call along these lines.
