A former Clare Labour TD says the government’s changes to the health system are too widespread for the sector to cope with it.
Dr Moosajee Bhamjee, a prominent Clare psychiatrist, has made his comments after the chief executives of four of Ireland’s largest hospitals wrote to the HSE expressing concern that spending cuts are putting patient safety at risk.

He Feels Ireland’s health system has been suffering for years, and that the heads of these hospitals are merely reflecting the conerns of frontline staff about government measures.
