Fianna Fail Selects Ennis Candidates

Fianna Fáil has selected three candidates to run in Ennis in the local elections next year.

Former County Councillor Bernard Hanrahan from Clarecastle will be looking to regain the seat that he lost in 2009 alongside sitting Councillors Pat Daly of Ennis and Kilmaley’s Tom McNamara.

Another Clare County Council member, Darragh man Brian Meaney who joined Fianna Fáil in April, has missed out on a party nomination having polled in last position of the nine prospective candidates.

It’s expected two more names will be added to the party’s ticket at a later date.
