The Education Minister is welcoming the improvement by Irish 15 year olds in maths, reading and science – but says there’s no room for complacency.
The OECD looked at over half a million students in 65 countries in 2012 to compare their ability in the three subjects.

Ireland ranks fourth among 34 OECD countries for reading and seventh for science.
When it comes to maths – 15 year olds here now rank 13th among the 34 OECD countries – up from 26th.
