The rate of unemployment for November has dropped slightly from 12.6 per cent in October to 12.5 per cent.
The Live Register total has recorded a monthly decrease of 3,400 for last month, with nearly 500 of this coming from Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary.

In all, the MidWest has now seen an annual fall of nearly 2,800 in the numbers seeking some form of unemployment benefit over the past twelve months.
