The Fianna Fail party will select its local election candidates in the Killaloe area this evening.
Four names are expected to seek a nomination to run for Clare County Council in the elections next May, including sitting Councillor Pat Hayes from Caher, and Tony O’Brien from Killaloe who lost his seat in 2009.

Also hoping for the Fianna Fail nomination are Liam Wiley from Bodyke, the son of former Councillor Colm Wiley and Alan O’Callaghan from Kilmurray.
The selection convention will take place in the Courthouse in Tulla from 8pm.
