The Pope could be invited to address the Seanad.
Senator David Norris has written to the Committee on Procedures and Privilege for the upper house to have Pope Francis the 1st added to a list of international people to be invited to make an address.

The idea received broad support from across the Seanad this morning.
And Senator Norris says he really believes it could happen.
